- 2 sticks butter
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Brown 3 tablespoons sugar in a small heavy skillet, stirring constantly.

2While you're browning the sugar, bring all the remaining ingredients, except the vanilla, to a boil.

3Add the browned sugar to the other ingredients.

4Boil all to soft ball stage.

5Remove from heat.

6Add vanilla.

7Let cool about 30 minutes.

8Beat until creamy.
