- 50 light caramels (14 oz.)
- 1/3 c. plus 3 Tbsp. evaporated milk
- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 c. margarine, melted
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. chocolate chips
Directions

1In heavy saucepan, combine caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.

2Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted.

3Set aside.

4Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.

5In a large bowl, combine cake mix, melted butter, nuts and 3 tablespoons evaporated milk.

6Stir until dough holds together.

7Press half into pan; reserve other half.

8Bake at 350° for 6 minutes.
