- 1 1/2 c. butter
- 1 lb. brown sugar
- 1 c. white sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 c. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans, finely chopped
Directions

1Cream the butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time.

2Combine flour, salt and baking powder. Add slowly alternating with milk and beating mixture as you go. Add vanilla and nuts.

3Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
