Caramel Nut Candy

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1/4 c. broken walnuts
  • 1/2 c. white seedless raisins
  • 1 Tbsp. margarine

Directions

    Mix all ingredients in a double boiler or very slowly on low heat.

    While candy is cooling, prepare a large metal tray by covering it with waxed paper.

    (Greasing the waxed paper slightly helps ensure the candies won't stick.)

    Drop small tablespoons of the candy mix onto the wax paper.

    Chill until firm and store in the refrigerator.

    Chewy and delicious.
