- 1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus yellow cake mix
- 1/4 c. butter, softened
- 4 c. pecan halves, whole or chopped
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1/4 c. evaporated milk or cream
- 1/2 c. honey
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Place cake mix in large bowl and cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

3Press into bottom of ungreased 15 x 10-inch pan.

4Top with pecans.

5In heavy saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter and honey.

6Bring to a rolling boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.

7Boil 3 minutes; remove from heat.

8Stir in cream until well blended. Pour hot mixture evenly over pecans.

9Bake at 350°

10for 17 to 22 minutes until entire surface is bubbly.

11Cool completely before cutting into 48 bars.
