- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 2 eggs
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. oleo
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix 3/4 cup sugar, flour, milk and eggs in pan.

2Put remaining sugar in skillet to caramelize.

3Cook both pans at the same time, stirring.

4When sugar melts and turns light brown, the other mixture should begin to thicken.

5Pour caramelized sugar into pudding; stir until thick.

6Remove and add 1 teaspoon oleo and vanilla.

7Pour into cooled, baked pie shell.

8Top with meringue and brown.
