- 3 egg yolks
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. white sugar
- 2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. oleo
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Place 1/2 cup sugar in iron skillet; cook until it turns a dark brown syrup.

2Remove from heat and add boiling water.

3Cream eggs, sugar, flour, milk, butter and syrup.

4Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick.

5Remove from heat; add vanilla.

6Pour into baked pie shell.
