- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 3/4 c. cream
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 egg yolks
Directions

1Stir water, brown sugar and butter over heat.

2Boil until mixture threads when dropped from a spoon.

3Add cream, water and egg yolks to syrup.

4Mix thoroughly.

5Cook over low heat until thickened.

6Pour in baked pie crust.

7Cover with meringue made with whites of eggs.

8Brown meringue at 300°.
