  • 6 or 7 qt. prepopped corn
  • 1 c. margarine or butter
  • 1/2 c. white corn syrup
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Melt butter; stir in brown sugar, syrup and salt.

    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

    Then boil 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat; stir in soda.

    Pour over popped corn, mixing well.

    Bake in a roaster for 1 hour at 225°, stirring every 15 minutes.
