  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 cup white karo
  • 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Mix brown sugar, margarine, karo and cream of tartar. Bring to boil. Boil 5 minutes. Add soda and stir. It will foam up. Pour over 6 to 8 cups popped corn. Stir until well coated. Bake at 200° for about 1 hour. Stir occasionally.
