- 1 1/4 c. margarine
- 3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 3/4 c. light or dark syrup
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 9 qt. popped corn
Directions

1Melt margarine.

2Stir in sugar and salt; bring to a boil for 5 minutes without stirring.

3Remove from heat.

4Stir in soda.

5Pour over corn and put in shallow pan.

6Bake at 250° for 1 hour.

7Stir every 15 minutes.

8Store in sealed container.
