- 2 c. flour
- 3/4 c. packed light brown sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3/4 c. cold margarine
- 3/4 c. chopped walnuts
- 25 caramels (unwrapped)
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar and egg. Cut in 1/2 cup margarine until crumbly. Stir in walnuts. Reserve 2 cups of crumb mixture and press remainder firmly on bottom of greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake 15 minutes.
