Caramelized Apples

  • 1/4 cup (1/21/3 stick) unsalted butter
  • 4 large Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored, each cut into 8 slices
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Directions

    Melt butter in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat.

    Add sliced apples and saute 3 minutes.

    Sprinkle with sugar and saute until apples are golden brown and just tender, about 8 minutes longer.
