  • 2 c sugar
  • 2 c light corn syrup
  • 1/2 c real butter
  • 2 c coffee cream
  • few grains salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

    Cook sugar and syrup until very thick (230°).

    Add butter. Stir.

    Add cream gradually so mixture doesn't stop boiling.

    Cook until firm ball (242°), stirring constantly.

    Add salt and vanilla. Mix well.

    Pour into well greased sheet pan.

    When cool, cut into small squares and wrap in wax paper.
