Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup butter
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
Directions

1Butter a pan, either 8x8 or larger.

2Note: you may choose to use wax paper instead of butter.

3Over medium heat, mix butter, sugar, and corn syrup.

4Heat to boiling stirring constantly.

5Once Boiling, let it boil for 4 minutes while stirring constantly.

6Take off burner for a moment and add the sweetened condensed milk.

7Return to medium low heat.

8Stir constantly until reaches soft-ball stage.

9Pour into your buttered pan to cool.

10Do not scrape the bottom of the pot, as that will result in crunchies.

11Let cool.

12After it has firmed up a bit, cut the caramels before it gets too hard.
