  • 1/2 lb. oleo
  • 1 lb. brown sugar
  • 1 c. white Karo
  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • nuts (if desired)

Directions

    Melt the oleo.

    Add the brown sugar; stir until mixed well. Add the Karo and Eagle Brand; boil to 236°, stirring constantly. Add the vanilla and nuts, if desired; mix well.

    Pour into buttered pans; chill 2 hours.

    Cut, put in wrappers and store.
