Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 2 c. half and half cream
  • 1/2 c. nulomoline
  • 1/2 tsp. lecithin
  • 1/4 stick butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    In a 3-quart pan, cook sugar, corn syrup, nulomoline, cream and lecithin.

    Stir often at beginning to dissolve sugar.

    Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes. Add broken pieces of butter and cook to 230°. Continue to cook and stir until mixture reaches 246°.

    Remove from heat. Add salt and vanilla. Gently stir with wooden spoon.

    Pour into buttered pan. Add nuts, if desired.
