- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. whipping cream
- 1 3/4 c. light corn syrup
- dash of salt
- 1 c. butter
- 1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Directions

1Boil all together except 1 cup cream, nuts and vanilla.

2Boil 30 minutes.

3Add second cup of cream and boil to firm ball (248° on candy thermometer).

4Remove from heat; add vanilla and nuts and pour into well buttered cookie sheet.

5Cook in a heavy pan and stir.

6A pressure cooker kettle works well.
