  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Melt butter; add brown sugar and salt. Stir in corn syrup. Gradually add milk. Stir constantly. Cook over medium heat until 245° (firm ball stage). Remove from heat; add vanilla. Pour into buttered pan. Makes 2 1/2 pounds.
