Ingredients

  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. corn syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 6 Tbsp. evaporated milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Heat first 4 ingredients in a large saucepan to soft boil stage. Add butter and evaporated milk quickly. Stir constantly. Heat to 242°, then remove from heat. Add vanilla and stir.

    Pour into greased 9 x 9-inch pan.

    When cool, cut into squares and wrap in wax paper.
