- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 6 Tbsp. evaporated milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Heat first 4 ingredients in a large saucepan to soft boil stage. Add butter and evaporated milk quickly. Stir constantly. Heat to 242°, then remove from heat. Add vanilla and stir.

2Pour into greased 9 x 9-inch pan.

3When cool, cut into squares and wrap in wax paper.
