  • 1 lb. or 2 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/2 lb. butter (not margarine)
  • pinch of cream of tartar
  • 1 c. light Karo syrup
  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk

Directions

    Mix all together and cook over low heat for 20 minutes.

    Stir all the time.

    Take off of stove and add 1 cup of pecans that have been cut up.
  4. 4
    Pour contents into a well-greased pan.
  5. 5
    Let cool and cut into squares and wrap in wax paper.
