- 1 c. butter
- 2 1/2 c. (1 lb.) brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1In a saucepan, melt butter.

2Stir in sugar and salt, then add corn syrup and mix well.

3Add sweetened condensed milk, stirring constantly.

4Continue stirring and cook to 245°.

5Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

6Pour into a 9-inch buttered pan.

7When cold, cut into squares and wrap.

8Makes about 49 pieces.
