- 2 c. sugar
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 c. dark Karo syrup
- 1 can Eagle Brand sweetened milk
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix sugar, butter and Karo thoroughly.

2Let come to a boil, stirring constantly.

3Add milk.

4Keep mixture boiling and continue stirring until a hard ball is formed in cold water.

5Remove from fire; stir in nuts and vanilla.

6Pour into a well buttered pan, 13 x 9-inches.

7When cold, cut in strips, then bite-size pieces. Wrap in cellophane squares.
