  • 1 stick oleo
  • 3 Tbsp. carob
  • 1/2 c. cooking oil
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 tsp. soda in 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of salt

Directions

    Mix sugar and flour; set aside.

    Boil oleo, carob, cooking oil and water.

    Add to flour mixture.

    Add soda in buttermilk.

    Add eggs, vanilla and salt.

    Pour into greased broiler pan and bake 35 minutes at 375°.
