- 1 lb. white crab meat
- 1 pt. milk
- 1 pt. cream
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 Tbsp. sherry
- 4 blades whole mace
- 6 pieces lemon peel
- 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Put milk in top of double boiler with mace and lemon peel; allow to simmer for a few minutes.

2Add crab, butter and cream; cook for 15 minutes.

3Thicken with cracker crumbs; season with salt and pepper.

4Allow to stand on back of stove for a few minutes to bring out the flavor.

5Just before serving, add sherry.
