  • 1 1/3 c. water
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 c. finely grated carrots
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Bake in large tube pan at 275° for two hours.
