  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 2 c. grated carrots
  • 1 tsp. soda

Directions

    Sift flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and salt.

    Combine oil, carrots, sugar, eggs and nuts.

    Add sifted ingredients; mix well.

    Bake in a greased 9-inch tube pan at 350° for 1 1/2 hours. Cool.

    Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.
