  • 1 pound Hamburger Or Ground Turkey
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/2 cups Celery
  • 1/2 cups Green Pepper
  • 1/2 cups Onion
  • 2-1/2 cups Grated Carrots
  • 1/2 teaspoons Garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoons Marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 4 cups Tomato Or V-8 Juice
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 cans Cream Of Celery Soup
  • 5 slices Swiss Cheese, Grated

Directions

    Brown hamburger or ground turkey. Add salt. Saute chopped celery, green pepper, onion, grated carrots, garlic, pepper, marjoram and sugar together in 2 tablespoons of oil for 10 minutes. Combine hamburger and vegetable mixture, then add tomato juice and water. Bring to a boil; simmer. Thoroughly blend or whisk cream of celery soup, then add to the mixture. Cook for an additional 30 minutes.
