  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 6 ounces plain yogurt
  • 2 5/8 cups flour
  • 9/16 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • salt
  • 1 3/8 cups carrot

    Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

    In a bowl, add the eggs, sugar, and oil, Mix well. Add the yogurt and mix again.

    Add the flour, yeast, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt to another bowl and mix well. Add to the wet ingredients and beat thoroughly. Add the grated carrot and fold.

    Let the batter rest for 5 minutes. Lightly oil and flour a 26 centimeter by 7 centimeter by 9 centimeter loaf pan.

    Pour the mixture into the loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes. Check doneness by piercing the center with a toothpick; if it comes out clean, it is done.
