- 1 cup raisins
- 2 carrots, grated
- 1 13 cups water
- 3 tablespoons shortening
- 12 cup walnuts, chopped
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 14 teaspoon salt
Directions

1Mix sugar, raisins, grated carrots, water, and shortening together.

2Boil slowly for 10 mins and cool.

3Add walnuts, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda and salt and mix well.

4Place in greased cupcake tins.

5Bake 350 10-15 mins.
