- 1 small diced onion
- 1 c. uncooked rice
- 2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. chicken bouillon
- 3 peeled carrots, sliced thin
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Saute onion and carrots in pan or skillet until soft.

2Add rice and mix.

3Add water and bouillon; bring to a boil.

4Cover and let simmer 15 minutes.

5Uncover and add almonds and sugar.
