- 6 medium carrots, pared in thin strips
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 Tbsp. chopped chives
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. water
Directions

1Melt margarine in a saucepan. Add lemon juice. Arrange carrots in layers in a baking dish.

2Between each layer, pour in the lemon juice and margarine mixture. Sprinkle with chives and parsley. Add the water. Cover and bake at 350° until the carrots are tender, about 50 minutes.
