  • 3 c. carrots, sliced
  • 4 strips bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. onion, grated or finely chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter

Directions

    Cook carrots until tender; drain.

    Mix together carrots, bacon, salt, pepper and onion.

    Place in 1-quart casserole. Sprinkle with sugar and butter.

    Cover and bake for 25 minutes at 400°.
