  • 3 c. carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 3/4 c. boiling water
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. butter (not margarine!)
  • parsley, chopped

Directions

    Place carrots in boiling water with sugar and salt.

    Cover the pot with tight cover and cook until water evaporates.

    Brown carrots in butter.

    Sprinkle with parsley.
