- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 3/4 to 2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
- 1 c. cashews
Directions

1Grease a 9-inch square pan. In a saucepan, melt butter and add brown sugar.

2Cook over low heat for about 2 minutes, stirring until mixture boils.

3Remove from heat and let cool.

4Gradually add confectioners sugar until the mixture is of fudge consistency. Add nuts. Pour and spread into prepared pan. Let cool.

5Makes about 36 pieces.
