Ingredients
- 4 catfish fillets
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- vegetable oil
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 c. sliced okra
- salt and pepper
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- cooked rice
- hot pepper sauce
Directions

1Cut fish into cubes.

2Cook the celery, green pepper, onion and garlic powder in oil until pepper is tender.

3Dissolve bouillon cubes in water and add this with tomatoes, okra and spices to the oil.

4Simmer for 30 minutes and add the fish and cook until it is done.

5Serve with rice in bowls.

6Add pepper sauce to taste.
