- 5 lb. catfish
- 5 lb. potatoes, diced
- 3 lb. onions, diced
- 3 slices salt-fat meat (fatback)
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of tomato soup
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cover catfish in water; cook until meat will separate from bone.

2Remove catfish from stock (reserve stock).

3Use a 3 gallon pot.

4Saute onions in oil.

5Add potatoes and cover with fish stock.
