- 1 basket ripe tomatoes
- 3 large green peppers
- 6 large onions
- 1/3 c. salt
- 3 c. vinegar
- 1 qt. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. horseradish
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper
- 1/2 box pickle spice
Directions

1Cut the tomatoes, peppers and onions.

2Cook with salt and strain.

3Pour mixture into a bag; let drain 3 hours.

4Save 1 cup of juice.

5In large boiler, add the vinegar, 1 cup strained juice, sugar and horseradish.

6Add spice bag made up of the red pepper and pickle spice.

7Cook everything 30 to 40 minutes.

8Put into hot, sterilized jars (open kettle).
