  • 1 c. sliced celery
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. toasted almonds (optional)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 c. soft bread crumbs

    Boil the celery in just enough water to cover it for 8 to 10 minutes.

    Drain.

    Add to the drained celery the cream of mushroom soup and the melted butter; mix.

    Pour in a casserole pan. Sprinkle the bread crumbs and the almonds and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Yields 8 servings.
