  • 4 c. celery, cut in 1-inch pieces
  • 1 (6 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 1/4 c. chopped pimiento
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c. sliced, toasted almonds
  • Ritz crackers

Directions

    Put celery in boiling, salted water and cook 8 minutes; drain. Layer celery, water chestnuts, pimiento and chicken soup in buttered 2-quart casserole.

    Top with sliced almonds; crumble Ritz crackers lightly over all.

    Cover and bake at 350° for 30 minutes until bubbly.
