Chafing Dish Beer Balls

- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 lb. sausage
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 tsp. dried minced onions
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- pinch of dill seed (optional)
- 1 (12 oz.) can beer
Directions

1Mix first 5 ingredients.

2Form small bite-size meatballs. Brown balls, then remove from skillet.

3Stir tomato paste into drippings.

4Add beer to this mixture.

5Return meatballs to sauce. Simmer 20 to 30 minutes.

6A pinch of dill seed may be added to the sauce.

7Serves 20 to 30.

8Keep warm in chafing dish and serve with toothpicks.
