- 3 pkg. yeast
- 3/4 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 Tbsp. milk/cream
- 7 c. flour
- 1 c. boiling water
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/3 c. honey
- 7 eggs
- poppy seed
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water with 2 tablespoons sugar.

2Cover. Let stand in warm place.

3Place butter in mixing bowl with salt and boiling water.

4When melted, add oil, sugar and honey.

5Add 6 eggs, one at a time.

6Mix at low speed.

7Add yeast, mix 4 cups flour.

8Mix well.

9Add remaining flour and knead 10 minutes on table dusted with flour.

10Add flour to knead.

11Put in buttered bowl and turn, butter side up.

12Cover, let rise 1 hour, until doubled.

13Punch down.
-
14Let rise again 1 hour until doubled.
