  • 1 box cake mix (yellow or white)
  • 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 (8 or 12 oz.) Cool Whip
  • crushed walnuts

Directions

    Bake cake mix as directed in a 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Cool.

    Beat pudding mix, milk and cream cheese (at room temperature) together until stiff.

    Slowly fold in pineapple.

    Spread on cooled cake and sprinkle crushed walnuts on top, if desired.
