Cheddar Cheese Chicken

  • 1 cut up chicken
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can Cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. basil

Directions

    Melt butter or margarine in pan.

    Mix dry ingredients together.

    Shake chicken in mixture and cook each side about 15 minutes.

    Add soup, onion, basil and water to chicken.

    Cover and cook on low heat about 45 minutes or until done.
