- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup Crisco
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 5 -6 tablespoons ice water
Directions

1Combine flour, cheese and salt in large bowl.

2Cut in shortening until coarse crumbs form.

3Sprinkle water into mixture a tablespoon at a time. Press dough with one hand adding water until a ball forms.

4Let chill 1 hour.

5This recipe will make 1 (2 crust) 8 or 9 inch pie. Bake according to pie directions.

6This also works well in food processor.
