Cheddar Cheese Quick Bread

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1/3 c. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 to 2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 5 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. dill weed
- 1 1/2 c. uncooked quick or old-fashioned rolled oats
Directions

1Stir together the flour, baking powder and salt.

2Cut in the butter or margarine.

3Stir in the dill weed, cheese and rolled oats.

4Add the milk and eggs.

5Mix just until moistened.

6Pour into greased 5 x 9-inch loaf pan.

7Bake in a 375° preheated oven for 1 hour.

8Cool for 5 minutes in pan.

9Remove from pan and cool for 40 minutes before cutting.
