  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 cups Diced Potatoes
  • 1/2 cups Carrots, Diced
  • 1/2 cups Celery, Diced
  • 1/4 cups Onion, Chopped Small
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons Pepper
  • 1/4 cups Butter Or Margarine
  • 1/4 cups Flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, Grated
  • 1 cup Ham, cubed

Directions

    Combine water, potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt and pepper in a large kettle. Boil for 12-15 minutes or until tender. Do not drain. Meanwhile, make the white sauce by melting butter in saucepan. Add flour, stir until smooth. Slowly add milk; cook until thickened. Add grated cheese to sauce; stir until melted. Add sauce and ham to vegetables that are not drained. Heat through.
