- 2 sticks or 1 c. unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper to taste
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
Directions

1Mix butter and grated cheese until light and fluffy.

2Add flour gradually.

3Add salt and cayenne pepper and blend well.

4Add cereal and blend.

5Take 1 teaspoon and roll into a ball.

6Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.

7Flatten each with floured fork. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until golden.

8Keep in airtight container 1 week or may be frozen.

9Great for hors d'oeuvres.
