Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/3 c. oil
- 6 strips bacon, crisply fried, drained and crumbled
Directions

1Grease or spray muffin pan.

2Stir together flour, cheese, sugar, baking powder, salt and pepper.

3Make a well in center.

4In a small bowl, combine egg milk and oil.

5Add egg mixture to flour mixture.

6Stir just until moistened.

7Batter should be lumpy. Fold in crumbled bacon.

8Fill prepared muffin pan cups.

9Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden.

10Remove from pan.

11Serve while warm.
