- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/3 c. oleo
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, well beaten
Directions

1Scald milk.

2Slowly sprinkle cornmeal over milk, stirring constantly.

3Continue cooking and stirring over low heat until mixture has thickened (5 to 10 minutes).

4Add cheese, oleo, salt and sugar.

5Stir until cheese and oleo are melted.

6Stir in eggs; mix well.

7Pour into a 1 1/2-quart greased baking dish.

8Bake at 350° for about 35 minutes or until firm.

9Serve immediately.
